“Broad City” Understands How Trippy Whole Foods Is

The ladies of the excellent Comedy Central television series Broad City — already proven fans of the Slope — recently took a trip to our area, in more ways than one.

In the most recent episode, Abbi ends up at the Gowanus Whole Foods on a medicine- and marijuana-fueled shopping spree, leaving chaos in her (and her imaginary buddy’s) wake. And she racks up a bill of $1,487.56, which honestly, we’ve probably all come close to there without the aid of pain medication.
