Bombay Grill: Closed, On Vacation, Or…?

Last week, neighbor Jordan asked us via Twitter if we knew whether or not Bombay Grill, the Indian restaurant at 351 7th Avenue near 10th Street, had closed. And because we’re not sure what’s up, we’re hoping someone out there knows.

We’ve called the restaurant a few times since Jordan mentioned it on Friday, but no calls have been answered, and when we passed by today when they normally would have been open, the space was closed, with mail piled up by the door, but no signs noting a vacation, and nothing else to explain the closure. Neighboring businesses told us they aren’t sure what’s going on.

Anyone know if they’re closed temporarily, or for good?

While we wait to see, there are a couple of other options in the area — anyone have a favorite?
