The body of a 19-year-old male was found floating in Prospect Park Lake on Monday night, police say.

Exactly two months ago, another 19-year-old male was found dead floating in a different section of the lake.

On Monday, January 2, 2017, at approximately 6:50pm, police arrived at the lake near a rustic shelter located at the southeast corner of the park after passers-by called 911.

Cops say that after they removed the body from the lake, EMS pronounced the man dead on the scene.

Police say there were no immediate signs of trauma.

According to the New York Post, the teen was reported missing before his death.

The cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner, and the investigation is ongoing.

The body of 19-year-old Geordian Childs was found floating in the lake on Wednesday, November 2, 2016, near the intersection of Wellhouse Drive and West Drive.

Childs’ parents told the police that their son had traveled to New York City to look for a job, and “the next thing we knew, he was dead.”
