Boardwalk Empire Filming Near Church & Flatbush Avenues This Friday

Boardwalk Empire will be filming at the north end of the neighborhood later this week, according to signs we noticed this morning. The show, which has filmed several times in our area before–including inside the Flatbush Reformed Church complex–is asking neighbors to move their vehicles by 10pm the night of Thursday, May 15, ahead of filming on Friday, May 15.

Affected blocks include:

  • Both sides of E 21st Street between Church Avenue and Albemarle Road
  • The north side of Albemarle between Ocean Avenue and Flatbush Avenue
  • The south side of Church Avenue between E 21st Street and Flatbush Avenue
