Blizzard 2015: What’s Still Open

If you still need last-minute supplies to ride this blizzard out, we’ve got a list of stores that are still open, at least for now. Also, some of these spots are actually holding parties and snowball fights, so make sure to take a look!

SUPERMARKETS

  • Key Food, fka Met Food (991 Fulton Street) is still open and “we have a lot” of goods on the shelves. They’re open until 10pm tonight and will play it by ear tomorrow. “If we can walk here, we’ll be here,” said an employee.
  • Bravo Supermarket (331 Myrtle Avenue, at Washington Park) still has eggs, milk, “a little bread” and various other food supplies, but stuff is going quick. They’re open until 8pm tonight.
  • Greene-Ville Garden (373 Myrtle Avenue between Adelphi and Clermont) is still open and stocked. They’re aiming to stay 24 hours, but aren’t sure if they’ll be able to as the storm progresses.

FOOD AND DRINK

  • Cafe Paulette (136 DeKalb Avenue, at South Elliott Place, is still open, for now. They hope to reopen tomorrow for dinner “if weather permits.”
  • Pillow Cafe Lounge (505 Myrtle Avenue) is open today until 8pm and tomorrow at a time TBD.
  • Mirrors on Grand (284 Grand Avenue, off Lafayette Avenue) is open for happy hour and on, until the snow gets too bad.
  • The Greene Grape (767 Fulton Street) will remain open “as long as the trains are running.” They are out of cow’s milk and “most bread.” However, they still have “crackers, red meat and cocktail fixin’s aplenty.”
  • Emily (919 Fulton Street) is open until 8:30pm tonight.
  • Bati Ethiopian Kitchen (747 Fulton Street) is open until 9pm.
  • Mac Shack (901 Fulton Street) will be open until 9pm.
  • Lola Brooklyn (387 Myrtle Avenue) will be open tomorrow/Tuesday, January 27 at 11am
  • The Great Georgiana (248 DeKalb Avenue, at Vanderbilt Avenue) is holding a blizzard party.
  • Splitty (415 Myrtle Avenue) is open and will have a snowball fight at 9pm. (If you take photos, send them to us!)
  • Black Forest Brooklyn (733 Fulton Street, between South Elliott and South Portland) is open until 9pm tonight.
  • Hops Hill (886 Fulton Street) is open tonight for regular hours.
  • Moot Bar (579 Myrtle Avenue) is open regular hours, to 2am.
  • Corkscrew Wines (489 Myrtle Avenue between Hall and Ryerson) is open, as of 6pm, as long as they can tonight.
  • Tipsy (584 Myrtle Avenue, off Classon Avenue) is open until 8pm.
  • Gnarly Vines (350 Myrtle Avenue) is open as long as possible tonight.

HARDWARE AND OTHER STORES

  • Clinton Hill Hardware (452 Myrtle Avenue) is open until 7pm tonight and still has shovels AND salt!
  • My Brooklyn Baby (692 Fulton Street) is holding a 15% off online Snow Day Sale through Wednesday, using the code ‘snowday.’
