Beet Thai Reopens As Beet II

Almost as suddenly as it closed back in September, Beet Thai (344 7th Avenue, between 9th and 10th Street) is back, but with new management, and a slightly new name: Beet II.

The hot pink interior is officially gone, replaced with lots of grays, whites, and greens.

Employee May Rung, shown above, tells us that the menu is similar, but that there have definitely been a few changes. Despite any differences, fans of the original Beet that have already had a chance to sample the new restaurant appear to be happy with the changes.

May tells us that the restaurant is offering customers a 10% discount on all menu items through the end of December, so stop in and try it out for yourself. Welcome to 7th Avenue, Beet II!

Beet II Thai Kitchen is located at 344 7th Avenue, between 9th and 10th Streets. 718-832-2338. Hours are Monday through Friday, 11:30am to 11pm, and Saturday through Sunday, 12pm to 11pm. Last call for delivery is 10:45pm.
