Bed-Stuy Man Dies After Being Shot In Chest
BEDFORD STUYVESANT – Rasheed Bennett, 31, has died after being shot in the chest in the Eleanor Roosevelt Houses at 128 Lewis Ave. on Monday, June 17 at around 2:47 p.m.
Bennett was coming out of the elevator in the lobby of the building, when somebody shot him, the Daily News reported, along with saying that cops found a single 9-mm. shell casing and a bullet fragment at the scene. NYPD would not confirm these details to us. According to the NYPD, Bennett was taken to Woodhull Hospital where he was pronounced dead. As of today, there have been no arrests made and the investigation is ongoing.
