Bartel-Pritchard Greenmarket Closed Wednesday, But Grand Army Plaza Will Be Open

The Bartel-Pritchard Square Greenmarket, which is normally held on Wednesdays, will not be open tomorrow as it’s been cancelled for the day.

Customers who ordered pies from Bread Alone at the Bartel-Pritchard market can now pick them up at the Grand Army Plaza Greenmarket, which will be open for a a special Thanksgivukkah market on Wednesday, November 27 from 8am to 4pm.

While we do hear that some farmers are starting to cancel due to the rain, shoppers will still be able to do all of their last-minute Thanksgiving and Hanukkah shopping. DiPaola will have first-come, first-served turkeys, and Phillips will be there with all of their vegetables and fruit. Please note there will be no food scrap or textile collections on Wednesday.

Unfortunately, the Wednesday market was to have been the last one of the season at Bartel-Pritchard Square, which will return in spring 2014. The farmers and market managers send their thanks for your patronage!
