Bank Of America Home Loan Office To Close

Looks like 7th Avenue is about to have yet another vacancy. A sign posted in the Bank of America Home Loans office at 138 7th Avenue, between Garfield and Carroll, says the office will close on July 11. Customers are directed to call 347-227-4000 or visit the Bank of America branch location at 274 7th Avenue.

This isn’t the first home lending office about to close in the neighborhood — the Citi Home Lending space a few blocks away, at 200 7th Ave, is for rent.

As for the Bank of America space, it’s not currently listed for rent anywhere, and unless a tenant is already lined up, it will be joining a growing number of vacancies along 7th Avenue, including the former Sposabella space, the old Game Stop space, the former Sweet Melissa space, the old Yogo Monster spot and the space right next door, not to mention the Leaf & Bean and Two Boots spaces just off 7th.
