We first shared the story of Dottie [/blog/animals/neighbors-asking-for-help-in-rescue-of-south-slope-dog], a dog found abandoned near 17th Street and 7th Avenue, back in February. After discovering that all of the area shelters were full, neighbors Ashley and Brett Affrunti didn’t think twice before bringing the neglected dog into their home.
