Attempted Gunpoint Robbery At Flatbush Barber Shop [Graphic Video]

Police are searching for two men who tried to rob a Flatbush barber shop at gunpoint on Friday, according to police reports.

Two men stormed Nostrand Legend’s, a barbershop at 1402 Nostrand Avenue near Linden Boulevard on January 6 at 8pm, cops said. The first suspect brandished a silver gun and demanded money, darting around the shop. The second man struggled to rip a gold chain off an employee’s neck.

After a brief struggle both men fled the scene without stealing anything, according to police. The assaulted employee sustained a minor head injury and refused medical attention at the scene.

The first suspect is described by police as a 20-25 year old black man with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white drawstrings and black sweatpants with white stripes on the sides. He was in possession of a silver handgun.

The second suspect is described by police as a 20-year-old black man with a medium complexion and short black hair. He last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, a green bubble jacket, and gray sweatpants.

This violent robbery attempt occured just over one month after another robbery at a Nostrand Avenue fried chicken restaurant just one mile away, where the suspects threatened an employee with a broomstick.
