Assemblymember Brennan To Host Town Meeting On State Education Budget At PS 230

Got questions about New York State’s education budget, how it can impact students in New York City, and what you can do to help our kids? Would you like to see universal full-day pre-K made available to all children? If you’re curious about what’s happening in the state government and how it could affect us here, save the date for this upcoming event.

Local Assemblymember Jim Brennan will be hosting the free meeting to answer your questions on Sunday, March 9 at 4pm at the PS 230 auditorium, 1 Albemarle Road. There will be free pizza and childcare.

If you’re interested in attending, an RSVP is appreciated but not required: brennanj@assembly.state.ny.us or 718-788-7221.

Assemblymember Brennan has also started a petition asking Governor Cuomo to universal pre-K and afterschool programs, which you can sign online.
