Armed Thieves Steal Thousands In Electronics During Brazen Daylight Heist

Police are searching for two armed men who stormed into an AT&T on Kings Highway Wednesday afternoon and made off with thousands of dollars worth of electronics.

Cops say the bandits, who committed the brazen daylight robbery at the AT&T near Kings Highway and Ocean Avenue, stole two Apple iPad minis, six Samsung Galaxy S6 phones, and nine Apple iPhone 6s.

The NYPD described one suspect as a black man in his 20s, with an afro hairstyle, who is five feet, eight inches tall and about 160 pounds. The other man suspected in the robbery is said to have a “dark complexion,” is of unknown age, and is five feet, eight inches tall, and about 140 pounds, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or by texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) and then entering TIP577.

Update [September 21, 9:55am]: Police say a store employee chased the suspects and was able to retrieve the stolen items.
