Two Bedrooms and “Deep” Closets in Midwood
Price: $1.800
Location: 1580 East 13th Street
Description: Along with high ceilings, big bedrooms and a large living room, this 1,100 square foot apartment has five closets that are equally “deep.” Too bad there are no pictures to verify this claim. I like to think that the realtor meant to take pictures of it but every time he plunged into the depths of the closet, he became disoriented and even heard a low, primordial, grumbling that sent him running back to safety. Or maybe he meant “deep” in the philosophical sense. My closets quote Nietzsche.

One Bedroom and a Pool in Sheepshead Bay
Price: $1,500
Location: East 19th Street and Avenue X
Description: If for some reason you thought the pool was in the actual apartment, then you’re way too bourgeois for this humble news site. Apart from this standing water somewhere in the building, there is also a doorman. Pets are allowed but more importantly there is a “TON of closet space,” which sounds dangerous because I’ve generally been trained to avoid things that weigh a ton. Womp womp.

One Bedroom in Brighton Beach
Price: $1,175
Location: Brighton 5th Street
Description: This apartment has completely renovated floors and the walls have a new coat of paint. Being in Brighton Beach, you’ll be a walk away from the ocean. Let’s just hope that ocean acidification doesn’t happen too quickly.

One Big Bedroom in Sheepshead Bay
Price: $1,575
Location: 2249 Ocean Avenue
Description: For a one bedroom, this apartment appears to be very big. Which, of course, doesn’t excuse the price tag. Unfortunately, the kitchen is the exception to this rule but based on the pictures, it looks like there is something that vaguely resembles a hallway (maybe it’s the living room).
