Trump Executive Arrested For Assaulting Woman At Fort Greene Apartment Complex
Another employee of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump is in trouble with the law.
Nathan Crisp, 34, vice president of revenue management and distribution at Trump Hotels, was arrested for assaulting a woman in the parking lot of his luxury Fort Greene apartment building on Easter Sunday, reports the New York Post.
According to reports, Crisp pushed Sheneik McCallum, a 27-year-old mother of two, to the ground in the parking garage of the Avalon Fort Greene (343 Gold Street) after they got into an argument.
McCallum had pulled over into the garage to double check that her infant was securely fastened when Crisp allegedly yelled at her to get off the property.
Community advocate Tony Herbert speaking on behalf of McCallum said that Crisp blocked the woman’s car with his vehicle before “cursing her out.”
According to the New York Post, “the argument escalated, and at one point, Crisp grabbed McCallum and pushed her to the ground, law enforcement sources said. When she stood back up, Crisp shoved her to the ground again, police said.”
Crisp was giving a desk appearance and charged with misdemeanor assault, Herbert believed the NYPD being too lenient on him.
“I am not sure why this person isn’t in handcuffs in a cell somewhere, but we will be reaching out to the brass at the NYPD as to why not,” Herbert told outlets. “When I learned that this perpetrator worked for the Trump organization, I gotta say I wasn’t surprised as to the attitude and disrespect displayed by this guy to this young woman.”
Crisp sent an email to the New York Daily News saying, “I am totally innocent of all charges and look forward to defending this matter in court at which time I am confident that I will be fully vindicated,” he wrote. “I do not have any further comment.”
Another statement issued by Trump Hotels struck a similar tone.
“This is a personal matter having nothing whatsoever to do with Trump Hotels or any of its affiliates. That being said, Trump Hotels is conducting its own internal investigation into this matter to determine what occurred and takes these allegations seriously,” a spokeswoman said.
This isn’t the first time one of The Donald’s employees has been arrested for being violent with women. Earlier this week, Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski was charged with battery following his rough treatment of a female reporter at a rally in March.
