Animals In Urgent Need Of Adoption After Death Of Owner

FIDO shared a story on December 30 about four animals that were in need of a foster or forever family after the sudden death of their owner. Although a number of folks shared the story, the animals are still homeless, and relatives have informed FIDO that the dogs will be euthanized on Thursday if placement is not secured. Here’s a description of all four animals from Park Slope Veterinary Care:

The cats…

1st – Baby is a 10 year old spayed female domestic with calico coloring. She is overdue on vaccines and has a history of asthma. This condition seems easily maintained.

2nd – Billi is a 9 year old spayed female domestic mostly black and white. No major medical history noted. Overdue on vaccines

The dogs…

3rd – Liberty is a 12 year old spayed female mix. About 52 lb. Some history of Urinary Track Infections. Up to date on vaccines. Goes to the bathroom outdoors

4th – Nena is a 10 year old spayed female lab mix about 130lb. No major health issues. Da2p up to date. Rabies vaccine due. Goes outdoors and on wee wee pads indoors.

Park Slope Veterinary Care also notes that the animals are not typically around children, but they have all been very sweet and are used to living with other cats and dogs.
