An Early Morning Assault and Afternoon Knife Attack as 2012 Crime Keeps 2011 Pace

This is the most recent CompStat report from the 70th Precinct covering the week of 11/12 through 11/18/12.

Several incidents have been reported around our area:

• On November 15, police arrested a 44-year-old man who they say threatened another man with a knife to his neck on Bedford Avenue at 4:30 p.m, reports Brooklyn Daily.

• On November 16, a 78-year-old man was murdered in his Flatbush Avenue shop. The police have since linked the crime to two other killings and charged Salvatore Perrone with multiple homicides.

• On November 14, a 36-year-old man was arrested for assaulting another man at 7:15 a.m. on Avenue H and East 8th Street, reports Brooklyn Daily.
