Adoptable Pet Of The Week: Aphrodite The Dog

Looking for a new furry friend? How about Aphrodite, a 2 1/2 year old pitbull mix who has been living at Sean Casey Animal Rescue since she was found tied up with a prong collar embedded in her neck. According to Sean Casey:

The poor baby still has some scarring on her neck from the horrific incident. Despite her past, Aphrodite is sweet as sugar. This girl was appropriately named as she is a lovebug who just wants to give kisses and play fetch (she adores her tennis balls). Aphrodite is a strong willed girl with a playful personality who would benefit from consistent training. This beauty would be best suited with an experienced owner in a mature home.

If you are interested in fostering Aphrodite, please email us at: foster@nyanimalrescue.org. In your email, briefly introduce yourself and state why you would like to foster.

If you’d like to adopt Tiki, you can find her at the Sean Casey Animal Shelter in Windsor Terrace, located at 153 E 3rd Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue — a quick trip on the F/G to Fort Hamilton Parkway — open daily from 11am to 7pm. For more info, call 347-599-1500.

And don’t forget, Adoptapalooza is happening in Bartel-Pritchard Square tomorrow!
