National Cat Day Adoptable Animal Of The Week: Miss Phoenix The Cat

Since we offer our Adoptable Animal of the Week series on Fridays, that made us a day late to celebrate National Cat Day. Never fear, we have an amazing feline to introduce to you!

Looking for a new companion?  Miss Phoenix enjoys being pet and brushed for short periods of time, and follows her foster mama all around the house. She even sleeps with her on the bed!

Sean Casey says:

Miss Phoenix is as cute as can be when she plays with her toys! This 3 year old girl came to us from a hoarders home and was very stressed in the shelter. She was constantly overlooked because she would hide from potential adopters. Now Phoenix is in a foster home and she has quickly come out of her shell and is acting like a happy house cat! Phoenix enjoys being petted and brushed for short periods of time, and follows her foster mama all around the house. She even sleeps with her on the bed! Phoenix also has a kitty brother in her foster home who she gets along with.
Miss Phoenix is available to adopt.

You can arrange to meet Miss Phoenix at the Sean Casey Animal Shelter, located at 153 E 3rd Street, between Fort Hamilton Parkway and Caton Avenue — a quick trip on the F/G to Fort Hamilton Parkway — open daily from 11am to 7pm. For more info, call 347-599-1500. You can also email them at foster@nyanimalrescue.org.
