Accident Knocks Over Traffic Light On Church & Flatbush Avenues

A neighbor sent word in that an accident involving a car and bus knocked over a temporary traffic light at the intersection of Church and Flatbush Avenues around 4:30pm today.

“Thankfully no one was hurt,” she says. “A southbound bus was trying to make a right turn onto Church Avenue. A car was in the way, and it ended up hitting the light which has been temporarily grounded in a block of cement.”

We’re so glad to hear everyone is okay–but if you’re headed out this evening, you’ll probably want to steer clear of the area.
