Police say a 23-year-old man was walking home when two teenage boys stopped him — the first, 19, grabbed him in a chokehold, while the other, 18, grabbed his iPhone, an earring, his wallet, a check for his tax return, and his social security card. The theft’s total value was $169, cops say.

As he was climbing up the apartment house stairs, cops say a 27-year-old man was stopped by two 19-year-old boys, when the first teen pulled out a gun and had the man hand over all his stuff, and the second took the man’s backpack. Police say the suspects stole $1,800 worth of goods, including $50 cash, a Gucci backpack, Gucci wallet, an iPhone, and credit cards.

According to the cops, a woman got ripped off for $1,094 when a thief got access to her bank account info and used it to make three purchases at several local stores.
