9/11 Photo Finish: As We Rise

Local reporter Neil Friedman took the above photograph on July 28, 2011, during a tour of the World Trade Center site.

Building at left is One World Trade Center, formerly called Freedom Tower, next to Seven World Trade Center. In the foreground is the National September 11 Memorial and Museum that honors victims of the September 11, 2001, and February 26, 1993, World Trade Center terrorists attacks, as well as those first responders who risked their lives in the search and rescue aftermath. It opens to public tomorrow.
