88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Week Of September 28-October 4

Compared to last week, crime went up in these categories:

  • Felony assault (from 3 to 5)
  • Grand larceny (from 5 to 9)
  • Auto thefts (from 1 to 2)
  • Transit (from 0 to 1)
  • Petit larceny (from 16 to 20)
  • Misdemeanor assault (from 4 to 6)

On the brighter side, reported crime fell in the following categories:

  • Rapes (from 2 to 0)
  • Burglary (from 2 to 1)
  • Misdemeanor sex crimes (from 1 to 0)

And these stayed the same:

  • Murders (0)
  • Robberies (2)
  • Housing (3)

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, October 20.

The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is Wednesday, November 4, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.
