88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Week of October 5-11

Compared to last week, crime went up in these categories:

  • murder (from 0 to 1)
  • robbery (from 2 to 4)
  • burglary (from 1 to 2)
  • grand larceny (from 9 to 10)
  • misdemeanor sex crimes (from 0 to 1)
  • shootings (from 0 to 1)

On the brighter side, reported crime fell in the following categories:

  • housing (from 3 to 0)
  • petit larceny (from 20 to 10)
  • misdemeanor assault (from 6 to 3)

And these stayed the same:

  • rape (0)
  • felony assault (5)
  • auto thefts (2)
  • transit (1)

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be TONIGHT, Tuesday, October 20, at 7pm.

The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is Wednesday, November 4, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.
