88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Week Of December 28-January 3
Felony assaults and burglaries inched up a bit this week compared to last week (December 21-27), but rapes dropped from 1 to 0. Overall, crime compared to last week, last month, and last year showed decent drops and only small increases. Hopefully we get more of this in 2016 than the higher crime that often comes with warmer weather.
The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting will be Tuesday, January 19 at 7pm, location TBD.
The next meeting of the Public Service Area 3 (housing police) is Wednesday, February 3, at 585 DeKalb Avenue.
CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We publish the week’s statistics for the 88th Precinct reports every week. The 88th Precinct is the police command that oversees Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
