Reported crime fell by over half in several categories compared to last week’s numbers: felony assaults from 5 to 1, auto thefts from 2 to 0, transit from 1 to 0, housing crimes from 2 to 1, petit larcenies from 16 to 8, and misdemeanor assaults from 11 to 6.

However, robberies also doubled from two cases last week to four incidents this week, and burglaries jumped from none to three. Seven grand larcenies were also reported this week — up one from last week.

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting is Tuesday, April 21 at 7pm at the French Speaking Baptist Church, entrance at Vanderbilt and Willoughby Avenues.

CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We publish the week’s statistics for the 88th Precinct reports every week. The 88th Precinct is the police command that oversees Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
