88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Larcenies And Assaults Climb Between February 9 To 15
The second week of February saw a spike in grand larcenies (from 5 to 11) and misdemeanor assaults (from 2 to 8) since last week, as well as smaller increases in reported robberies, burglaries and grand larcenies (1 more each compared to last week).
Last week’s one-each reports of misdemeanor sex crimes, shooting victims and shooting incidents also repeated itself this week.
This ends a short stretch of (possibly weather-related?) low-numbers reports of crime in the 88th Precinct’s coverage area of Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
On the more positive side, felony assault reports dropped (from 3 to 2).
CompStat reports are produced by the New York Police Department on a weekly basis. We publish the week’s statistics for the 88th Precinct reports every week. The 88th Precinct is the police command that oversees Fort Greene and Clinton Hill.
