88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Drop In Grand Larcenies And Many Other Crimes

The grand larceny see-saw continues his week, with reports in this crime category dropping from 12 to 2 since last week. Felony assaults also ticked down, from 2 to 0, and auto thefts stayed the same with three reported thefts both this and last week.

However, reported robberies and burglaries both went up from 0 to 2 this week.

In the non-major crime categories, crime fell across the board in housing (from 1 to 0), petit larceny (from 11 to 9), misdemeanor assault (from 12 to 5), and misdemeanor sex crimes from (2 to 0).

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting is TODAY, Tuesday, March 17 at 7pm at the French Speaking Baptist Church, entrance at Vanderbilt and Willoughby Avenues.
