88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Crime Reports Tick Up In All Categories

After mostly declining last week, crime rates in most categories inched back up this week. Among the major crime categories, robbery reports went from 4 to 5, burglaries from 3 to 4, and auto thefts from 0 to 4.

In other categories, transit crimes rose from 0 to 2, housing from 1 to 2, petit larceny from 8 to 12, and misdemeanor sex crimes from 0 to 1.

The lone decrease was for misdemeanor assault, which saw a drop from 6 to 4.

Staying the same from last week were felony assaults at one report and grand larcenies at 7.

The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting is TONIGHT, April 21 at 7pm at the French Speaking Baptist Church, entrance at Vanderbilt and Willoughby Avenues.
