88th Precinct Crime Statistics: Crime Reports Mostly Plateau This Past Week
The same number of crimes were committed this week as last week in the following categories: rape (one incident), robbery (one incident), auto thefts (two incidents), housing (two incidents), shootings (one incident).
Burglaries rose from 2 to 3 incidents, grand larcenies from 6 to 8, and petit larcenies from 10 to 11 cases.
On the plus side, there were fewer felony assaults (down from 7 to 4), misdemeanor assaults (down from 8 to 4), and misdemeanor sex crimes (from 1 to 0).
The next 88th Precinct Community Council meeting is Tuesday, May 19 at 7pm at the French Speaking Baptist Church, entrance at Vanderbilt and Willoughby Avenues.
