5 Brooklyn Easter Egg Hunts You Won’t Want To Miss

Hear that scuffling sound in the distance? No, it’s not a rat – just the Easter Bunny making his final sprint to NYC. Believe it or not, we’re only a few weeks away from Easter Sunday, so it’s time to start thinking about Brooklyn Easter egg hunts.

Note that some Easter egg hunts will sell out, so if you’re interested in attending, make those reservations soon. Not sure where to start? Here are five of our favorites:

Go extreme Easter egg hunting this year with Brooklyn Boulders! High, low, up, down, and all around is where kids ages 4 to 12 will find eggs in this 25,000 square foot facility. In addition to eggs, families can look forward to a Brooklyn Boulders tote bag, raffles, and prizes. The hunt is scheduled for March 26, from 10 am to 12 pm. Admission is $20 per child.

Head to Greenpoint for the 5th Annual McGolrick Park Egg Hunt – scheduled for Saturday, March 26, from 12 to 2 pm. Starting at noon, hunts will be organized for groups of ten kids at a time, and will run through 2 pm (or until the eggs run out). Also, look for arts and crafts, face painting, and an appearance from the Easter Bunny. In order to secure a spot, it’s recommended that you purchase your tickets ($15 per child) online. Tickets will be available on the day of the event from $20, but in addition to paying more, you’ll run the risk of the popular hunt selling out. All proceeds benefit Brooklyn Boy Scout Troop 26.

Rainy day? No problem! The event will move to St. John’s Lutheran Church (155 Milton Street), and take place from 2 to 4 pm.
