32 Paintings By Neighbor Karen Friedland Chosen For CAMBA Gardens

Congratulations to local artist Karen Friedland, who shared in a Monday newsletter that 32 of her original paintings have been chosen to adorn the walls at CAMBA Gardens Phase I (690 and 738 Albany Avenue on the Kings County Hospital grounds).

The paintings were chosen by CAMBA President/CEO Joanne Oplustil and CAMBA Housing Ventures Executive Vice President David Rowe, and will be hung alongside work by other Brooklyn artists. CAMBA Gardens Phase I, which was recently named Project of the Year by the Corporation for Supportive Housing, replaced two former hospital buildings with affordable apartments for 400 Brooklynites.
