D Runs Express, F Skips Stops & More Subway Service Changes

Below you’ll find early week Bensonhurst subway changes on the D, F, N, and R lines in Brooklyn. Check back later in the week to see what’s happening this weekend. Changes via MTA.info.

D trains skip 25 St, Prospect Av, 4 Av-9 St and Union St in both directions. N trains provide alternate service.
Late Nights, 11:30pm to 5am, Monday to Thursday, Dec 21 – 24

Transfer between D and N trains at 36th Street.

No D trains between 34 St-Herald Square and Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center. F, N, Q, and free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

D service operates in two sections:
1. Between 205 St and 34 St-Herald Square
2. Between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and Stillwell Avenue. Trains run express in both directions between Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center and 36 St.

Travel Alternatives:
For service between Manhattan and Brooklyn, take the N or Q.
Transfer between D, N, and Q trains at 34 St-Herald Sq and/or Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center.

For Union St, 4 Av-9 St, Prospect Av and 25 St, take the N instead.
Transfer between D and N trains at 36 St.

N Line

Astoria-bound N trains run via the Q from DeKalb Avenue to Canal Street
Late Nights, 11:45pm to 5am, Monday to Thursday, Dec 21 – 24 and Dec 28 – 31

No Astoria-bound service at Jay St-MetroTech, Court, Whitehall, Rector, Cortlandt, and City Hall. Use nearby 4 stations instead.

Transfer between 4 and N trains at Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center or 14 St-Union Square.

Travel Alternatives:
For service to Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to 4 Av-9 St and transfer to the F.

For service from Court St and Jay St-MetroTech, take the N to DeKalb Avenue and transfer to an Astoria-bound N.

Transfer is available between the N and 4 at Canal St after 1:15am.

R Line

No shuttle train between 36 St and 59 St – Brooklyn. N trains provide alternate service.
Late Nights, 11:45 PM to 5 AM, Mon to Thu, Dec 21 – 24

R service operates between 59 St and 95 St. Transfer between N and R trains at 59 St.

F Line

Manhattan-bound platform at Avenue X is closed for renovation
All times, until winter 2015/16

For service to this station, take the F to Avenue U and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from this station, take the F to Neptune Av and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.
