Three Wanted For Late Night Break-In & Robbery [Updated]

Cops are turning to the public for help identifying three men who robbed a Bensonhurst home, in the vicinity of 17th Avenue and 76th Street, over the weekend.

The suspects broke in through a basement window at 12:05am on Sunday, December 6, and then went upstairs, where they were confronted by a 46-year-old female homeowner, according to police. One of the suspects struggled with the woman, leaving her with bruising to her face and arm.

The suspects then fled the location on foot with $300 and a jacket containing two car keys, say cops.

Police have shared surveillance video of the suspects that was captured before the incident.

Update [December 10, 1:45pm]: The victim did not want her address revealed, according to police, but post has been updated with the approximate location her home.

Update [December 18, 6pm]: Cops told us they are closing in on the suspects and have “an idea” who they are.

“We have some good leads,” said 62nd Precinct Commanding Officer Anthony Sanseverino. “Hopefully, we’ll get some closure on that one.”
