2 & 4 Trains Replaced By Shuttle Buses & More Weekend Subway Service Advisories

While both the F and the G trains are running with normal service along the entire lines for once, this is the start of an irritating period for those who rely on the 2 or 4 train, as shuttle buses will replace sections of those lines on weekends for the next month. Details on that and more from the MTA:

No 2 trains between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av
No 4 trains between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Utica Av/New Lots Av
Weekends, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, until June 2
4 service operates between Woodlawn and Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr. 2 service operates between 241 St and Franklin Av, and trains make all stops between Atlantic Av-Barclays Ctr and Franklin Av.

Transfer between 2 trains and shuttle buses at Franklin Av. Free shuttle buses make all stops between Franklin Av and Flatbush Av. See the shuttle bus stop list here.

Sutter Av shuttle buses make all stops between Franklin Av and Sutter Av. New Lots Av shuttle buses run express between Franklin Av and Sutter Av and make all stops between Sutter Av and New Lots Av. Transfer between shuttle buses at Sutter Av. See the shuttle bus stop list here.

Coney Island-bound N trains stop at 45 St and 53 St
Weekends, 12:01am Saturday to 5am Monday, until May 5
Allow additional travel time.

No R shuttle train between 59 St and 36 St
Late nights, 11:30pm Friday to 5am Monday, until May 5
Shuttle service operates between 95 St and 59 St. For 53, 45, and 36 Sts, take the N instead. Transfer between trains at 59 St.

No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
