17th Street Remains Closed For Repairs Until Further Notice

Last week’s water main break is really wreaking havoc on 17th Street.

We spoke to crew member Shontique Marcus as she stood at the intersection of 17th Street and 5th Avenue this morning, and found out that an entire stretch of underground pipe between 5th and 6th Avenue must be replaced.

No official word on when the work will be complete, but it definitely looks like they’re going to be there for a while.
