Does the idea of waiting in line at Macy’s to see ole St. Nick makes you want to say bah humbug? We’ve got some news for you.

Puppetry Arts (339 2nd St) will be hosting a free Santa meet and greet at 7-Eleven (520 5th Avenue) on Sunday, December 16 from 11am – 2pm. Bring the kiddos for hot chocolate, holiday prizes, puppets, photos and some quality time with the jolly old elf himself.

Puppetry Arts has a long history of supporting youth development in our community. If you would like to help them continue their work here in South Slope and beyond, bring your jars, bags, buckets, suitcases, boxes, bowls and drawers full of spare change to the event. For every donation, you will have the chance to win a $50 7-Eleven gift card and a free puppet making workshop at your school, or the school of your choice.
