Woman Who Was Violently Mugged On Park Place Thanks Those Who Helped Her & Looks For Witnesses


Note About Mugging on Park Place

A mugging victim hung these signs on Park Place between 6th and 7th Avenues, thanking those who came to her aid during an attack that happened on Sunday, January 5. It reads in part:

I wanted to say thank you + to let you know I am ok. I have a broken nose, cuts + bruises, but am overall well, thanks to your assistance.

F’d in Park Slope cites an email from the block association that said the incident occurred around 10pm, as the woman was walking toward 6th Ave, when “she was grabbed from behind, pushed into a car, repeatedly hit in the face, and robbed.”
