Woman Robbed At Knifepoint At E. 18th Street & Foster Avenue

A 21-year-old woman was robbed at knifepoint at Foster Avenue and E. 18th Street around 3am Monday morning, the 70th Precinct told us today.

According to police, the woman was walking home from Newkirk Plaza when a man approached her with a knife.

“She fought back and got cut on her hand,” 70th Precinct Detective Dominick Scotto told us. “He took off with some of her personal property.”

The suspect stole her iPhone, purse, wallet, and camera, Scotto said.

Scotto described the suspect as a 27-year-old black male who is about six feet tall, weighs 180 pounds and has a shaved head.
