A woman said she was sexually harassed during a stay at Coney Island Hospital, when another patient allegedly exposed himself and attempted to push his way into her room.

The New York Post reports:

The 63-year-old woman, who asked not to be named for fear of embarrassment, said she was in her room Friday evening at Coney Island Hospital when a long-term male patient wandered by and exposed himself.
He began staring at her and pacing in front of her door before he suddenly opened his pajamas bottoms and exposed himself.

The man returned again on Saturday and tried to enter her room, she told the paper, though he was stopped by two nurses.

The victim says the harassment caused her to have a panic attack. The hospital has moved her to another wing and a spokesperson told the paper the incident is being investigated.

The Post reports that the man is homeless and has been at the hospital for more than a year.
