With A Little Mystery, Bread & Joe Is Coming Soon To 4th Avenue
We’re not yet able to say a ton about Bread & Joe, a new coffee (and we’re assuming some sort of bread item) place that appears to be opening soon at 618 4th Avenue (between 17th and 18th Streets).
We popped over this morning, but the gate was down. That said, their Facebook page was created a few days back and does show an interior shot that features an exposed brick wall behind the counter.
Bread & Joe sits directly across the street from Supercollider (609 4th Avenue), which functions as a cafe during the day. Walk one block up to 5th Avenue, and you have Roots Cafe (639A 5th Avenue) and La Boulangerie Lopez (647 5th Avenue).
Looks like we have a burgeoning square of coffee shops. Ok, maybe more of a parallelogram than a square.
