Win $25,000 for Kensington
$25,000. That is how much Kensington could win from the State Farm Neighborhood Assist contest.
Only the first 3000 entries will be accepted and the deadline is March 7th. Each user can submit up to 3 ideas and nearly 1000 have been submitted already. Send us your ideas so we can work together to improve our neighborhood.
The contest is looking for:
- Projects that improve educational opportunities in our neighborhood.
- Projects that develop strong, self-sustaining communities.
- Projects that make our neighborhood healthier, happier places to live.
Once entries have been submitted, the State Farm Youth Advisory Board will select the top 200 ideas based on the following criteria:
- How much does the cause focus on an unmet need in the community?
- How would the $25,000 be used to address the unmet need?
- How will the project make a lasting impact on the community?
- How will the project define and measure success?
Finally, Facebook users will vote for the top 40 out of the 200 finalists. Each Facebook user gets 10 votes per day per project. If we get a project into the top 40, let’s pool our votes, win $25,00 for Kensington, and make our community a better place.
