Where To Donate Toys Around Park Slope

The annual Toys for Tots drive is currently underway, and there are a lot of local drop-off locations where you can donate a toy, helping to ensure that so many Brooklyn children have a bright holiday.

The Park Slope Civic Council has once again organized the event, working with Park Slope Parents to make this the biggest drive yet — last year, they collected more than 2,000 toys, and we’re sure our neighbors can beat that amazing generosity this year.

You can bring a new, or very gently used, unwrapped gift for children up to age 12 to one of more than 30 locations around the Slope and Gowanus — local spots include Hungry Ghost at 253 Flatbush Avenue, St Augustine Church at 116 6th Avenue, Back to the Land at 142 7th Avenue, and the Park Slope Library at 431 6th Avenue. You can see all the locations on the map above, or listed here.

The drive continues through Tuesday, January 6, so while you’re out doing your own holiday shopping, if you can, grab something extra and help make the holiday a happy one for a local child in need.
