What Do You Think of Signs in Trees?
And not just any old stapled sign, but one high enough up that the person who nailed it there clearly had to climb a ladder or something to hang it, like this tree on East 16th Street between Beverley and Cortelyou.
This is right up there with littering, not scooping dog waste, and honking for finable actions in the neighborhood that actually could be enforced to great effect. Now if only someone who could issue tickets would issue tickets…but would that even help?
