Werkstatt Is Opening Thursday And They’re Hiring

Get ready for pretzels! Werkstatt, the new Austrian restaurant at 509 Coney Island Avenue is officially opening on Thursday, September 3.

We first took a peek inside the space back in July and we love all of the old signs and reclaimed wood.

If you are curious about what they’ll be offering, we got a sneak peek at their menu earlier this month. We can’t wait to try the beef goulash and the homemade bratwurst and the chicken schnitzel — okay, there are a lot of things we are looking forward to trying.

To wash it all down, there’s plenty of beer and Austrian wine, as well as a combo that mixes lemon sorbet with a Belgian beer that we’re certainly curious about.
