Kernan Farms is no stranger to the city, and it sells its produce at a variety of greenmarkets throughout the area, including at Brooklyn Borough Hall, Grand Army Plaza, Saint Mark’s Church, Union Square, and Rockefeller Center. The farm offer all kinds of yummy looking fruits and vegetables (they post many a drool-worthy photo on their Twitter feed), including peaches, tomatoes, peas, squash, eggplant, okra, zucchini, sweet potatoes, peppers, strings beans, potatoes, onions, and garlic.

  1. I agree. I traipse to Union Sq on Wed, or Bklyn Boro Hall on Thurs. to buy their peaches. But the tomatoes are also great, and I had a perfectly ripe cantaloupe from them the other week.
