We’ve rounded up some of the more interesting open houses happening in and around Bensonhurst this weekend. Any thoughts on these places?

1766 65th Street #6AF
List Price: $525,000
Size: Two bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: At only three years old, the finishes in this condo are still looking so fresh and so clean. Situated this close to the 18th Avenue N train (but also near to the 71st Street D if you’d prefer), this unit offers ample natural light and great views from its huge windows, a balcony to enjoy during the warmer months, sleek bathrooms, and modern appliances including a dishwasher and your own W/D. Stunning!
Open House: Sunday, December 14, 1:30-3pm

1662 73rd Street
List Price: $580,000
Size: Three bedrooms, one bathoom
Details: Here’s a home on the other end of the spectrum–built in 1910, it’s roughly twice the square footage of the place above (with probably twice the character), and has a yard to boot. On the downside, you can tell even from the one photo provided that it needs some major elbow grease. If you’re looking for a turnkey place, look above! If you’re looking for a project in the $500k range, though, check out the open house for this one.
Open House: Saturday, December 13, 1-3pm

1569 84th Street #2A
List Price: $625,000, $138 monthly
Size: Three bedrooms, two bathrooms
Details: Whatever this condo may lack in the aforementioned character department, it makes up for in space and ease. Nearly as large as the house just above and sure to need much less TLC (the listing says this development is brand new), it’s a practical solution for, say, a growing family without the time or energy to do extensive renovations. It’s also been on the market for over six months, so you might try getting that price down a bit.
Open House: Saturday, December 13 and Sunday, December 14, both 1-3pm

1433 Bay Ridge Parkway
List Price: $978,000
Size: Four bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms split over two units
Details: Under the traditional shingled exterior of this home is some serious funk, and we are feeling it! Yves Klein blue cabinets aren’t for the faint of heart, but we hope whomever buys this place will love them as much as we do. The angles in the attic/loft space are also super cool, and that wood ceiling in one of the bedrooms shown is… well, it’s something. Bonus: the home is divided into two units, so you may be able to collect some rent to help with your mortgage while you consider the perfect new hardware or countertop (hey, even we can acknowledge when enough blue is enough) for that kitchen.
Open House: Sunday, December 14, 1-2:30pm
