Weekend Transit Disruptions: R Makes Local Stops; Shuttle Replaces F

Below you’ll find Bensonhurst subway changes over the weekend on the D, F, N and R lines in Brooklyn. Check back here Monday to see what’s happening next week.

F Line

No F trains between Kings Highway and Stillwell Avenue. Free shuttle buses provide alternate service.

Weekend, 11:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, November 13-16.

F train service operates between 179th Street and Kings Highway. Shuttle buses run between Kings Highway and Stillwell Avenue, stopping at Avenue U, Avenue X, Neptune Avenue and West 8th Street.

For direct service between Stillwell Avenue and Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn, take the D, N or Q instead.

Transfer between F trains and shuttle buses at Kings Highway

Transfer between D, N and Q trains and shuttle buses at Stillwell Avenue.

The Manhattan-bound F train platform at Avenue X is closed for renovation.

All times, until winter 2015/16.

For service to this station, take the F to Avenue U and transfer to a Coney Island-bound F.

For service from this station, take the F to Neptune Avenue and transfer to a Jamaica-bound F.

R Line

36th Street-bound R shuttle train stops at 53rd Street and 45th Street.

Late nights, 12:01am Saturday to 5am Monday, November 14-16 and November 21-23.
