Weekend Subway Service Changes To Local Lines
The F and G trains will be running normally in our area, but watch out if you’re traveling further down the line. What to know this weekend, via the MTA:
Jamaica-bound F trains run via the E after 47-50 Sts to Roosevelt Av
Weekend, 9:45pm Friday to 5am Monday, May 9-12
No Jamaica-bound service at 57 St, Lexington Av/63 St, Roosevelt Island, and 21 St-Queensbridge.
F trains run local in Queens
Weekend, 12:30am Saturday to 5am Monday, May 10-12
G trains run every 20 minutes between Court Sq and Bedford-Nostrand Avs
Weekend, 5am to 12 midnight, Saturday and Sunday, May 10-11
The last stop for alternate trains headed toward Court Sq is Bedford-Nostrand Avs.
No R trains between Lower Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn
All times until October 2014
No R service at City Hall, Cortlandt, Rector, Whitehall, Court Streets, and Jay Street-MetroTech. R service operates between Forest Hills-71st Avenue and Bay Ridge-95th Street. Trains run via the Q in both directions between Canal Street and DeKalb Avenue.
