Weekend Stoop Sales: May 16-17
Looking to do a little bargain hunting this weekend? A few neighbors are hosting stoop sales, so if you’re out and about, you may want to scope out some new-to-you stuff. Here’s where you should be if you’re hoping to find a deal:
Where: 23rd Street between 6th & 7th Aves
When: Saturday, May 16, 11am-4pm (rain date is same time on Sunday, May 17)
What: The 9th annual block-long sale will have 15 households (and possibly more) participating. They’ll be selling housewares, clothing, books, DVDs, furniture, and more.
Where: 11th Street between 4th & 5th Aves
When: Sunday, May 17, 10am-3pm
What: If the weather holds out, they’ll be out there with tchotchkies, jewelry, books, frames, beach chairs, some clothing and shoes — including a leather jacket and a pair of Fluvogs — and more.
Where: 10th Street between 5th & 6th Aves
When: Sunday, May 17, 11am-4pm
What: This block-long stoop sale promises things like a ride-on fire truck, art supplies, furniture, lots and lots of children’s clothing and accessories, sporting goods, window air conditioners, and lots more.
